1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using Jan Interiors' services, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.

2. Services Description

Jan Interiors provides professional interior design services including but not limited to:

  • Residential interior design and consultation
  • Commercial space planning and design
  • Design consultation and project management
  • Space planning and renovation guidance
  • Material selection and procurement assistance

3. Project Terms and Conditions

3.1 Project Scope

All design projects will be clearly defined in a separate project agreement outlining scope, timeline, deliverables, and payment terms. Any changes to the original scope must be agreed upon in writing.

3.2 Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Providing accurate project information and requirements
  • Timely feedback and approvals on design proposals
  • Payment according to agreed schedule
  • Obtaining necessary permits and approvals
  • Site access and safety compliance

4. Payment Terms

Payment terms will be specified in individual project agreements. Generally:

  • Initial consultation fees are due upon completion of consultation
  • Design fees are typically paid in installments based on project milestones
  • Late payments may incur additional charges as specified in project agreements
  • All prices are in Singapore Dollars unless otherwise specified

5. Intellectual Property

All design concepts, drawings, specifications, and other creative work produced by Jan Interiors remain our intellectual property until full payment is received. Upon full payment, clients receive usage rights for the intended project only.

Clients may not reproduce, distribute, or use our designs for other projects without written permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

Jan Interiors' liability is limited to the total amount paid for our services. We are not responsible for:

  • Construction defects or contractor performance
  • Product defects or manufacturer warranties
  • Delays caused by permit approvals or third parties
  • Changes in building codes or regulations
  • Force majeure events beyond our control

7. Cancellation and Refunds

Project cancellation terms will be specified in individual agreements. Generally:

  • Clients may cancel projects with written notice
  • Completed work and expenses incurred are non-refundable
  • Cancellation fees may apply as specified in project agreements
  • All design materials must be returned upon cancellation

8. Privacy and Confidentiality

We respect client privacy and maintain confidentiality of all project information. We may use completed projects for marketing purposes unless specifically requested otherwise in writing.

Client information is handled according to our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.

9. Dispute Resolution

Any disputes arising from our services will be resolved through:

  1. Direct negotiation between parties
  2. Mediation if negotiation fails
  3. Arbitration under Singapore law if mediation fails

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Any legal proceedings will be conducted in Singapore courts.

11. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be posted on our website with the revision date. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of modified terms.
